Emily Haines, Weaves, Tanya Tagaq, Partner and Polaris Prize winner Lido Pimiento - this fall its the ladies rising up - remarkable new music changing the face of what one may call rock 'n roll - but hasn't Canada always had more female artists than other countries - just a thought - Leonard Cohen may have agreed but he's left the table. He has been honoured in a most poignant way by videographer Christopher Mills in a new video for 'Leaving The Table", a track on Cohen's final album, "You Want It Darker."

There will be a tribute to Cohen Nov 6 at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Tower Of Song has been put together by his son Adam and marks the first anniversary of Cohen pere. Elvis Costello, Feist, Philip Glass, k.d. lang, Damien Rice, Sting and Patrick Watson and others will be performing.
