Self-described sad-dream pop makers Dizzy will be sending out the happy vibes as their new record drops Friday July 31. To celebrate the launch the Oshawa-based Juno winners will be live-streaming some songs from the album, titled ‘The Sun and Her Scorch” via online performance on Zoom from the upstairs at Kops Records in Oshawa.
Tickets for the show, which begins at 6 p.m. EST, are available for $5 through Sidedoor.ca with proceeds going to Black Legal Action Centre (BLAC). The band will also be doing a Q and A session.
‘The Sun and Her Scorch’ is available on Royal Mountain Records.
Kops Records is located at 156 Simcoe Street South and is open on Fridays until 7 p.m. However this is a private event and due to Covid-19 protocols the public will not be allowed into the upstairs area.
