Turkish psych-folk innovators’ new album '‘Ask’ has gotten a lot of positive reviews. MOJO gave it 4 stars, Exclaim says, “captures a band more comfortable roasting in the sweaty, late-night heat of their notoriously fiery concerts, and is imbued with that invigorating immediacy,”. Bandcamp Daily says “On Aşk, the arrangements are slicker than ever, their vocals are more varied than their forebears, and both the saz and guitar playing are as spirited as anything in Anatolian rock’s history. They’re not just carrying the torch, they’re leading the way.”
And back in 2019 Altin Gun played River and Sky festival which I was at, and I’ve been a fan of the band too since. Great stuff. Go.
