I’ve been busy with Convergence in Oshawa but thats not the only fab event happening the weekend of Sept 22 thru 24. Cultivate at the Haute Goat Farm in Port Hope, close to the Durham Region border though is also on. Last year’s was so great, so chill, and thats was just on the Sunday when I went, and it rained, and it was still so chill. Cultivate is that type of fest, same vibes as RIver & Sky and Hillside so worth checking out for sure.
Sarah Harmer headlines the Friday, Nicholas Campbell whom I caught at Jethro’s recently is on the secondary stage, good stuff there. On Saturday Good Lovelies, Melissa Payne, and the super talented Charlotte Cornfield are not to be missed. Payne is back Sunday, along with Brooks and Bowskill, saw them last year, also not to be missed. There are others of course performing over the two stages and three days, including Okan, Lady Yetunde and Afrika Libre, and Diogo Ramos.
There’s camping, family friendly fun, our pals The Living Room, and goats and alpacas and chickens and great views and yes if I wasn’t working, doing the Convergence and the OMAs that weekend I’d be rolling up to this beauty.
