There are bands I like on the Cursed Blessings label founded by Shwarock alumni Al Nolan and Doug Smart, all very fine punk bands, and I’ve seen a few, but I have to admit of the stable it's The Slime that I’d call myself a fan of. Saw them at the Atria and they were roaring raw in yer face and loud as heavy metal thunder. So yes to The Slime headlining the Cursed Blessings showcase at the Atria during the Convergence Festival Saturday Sep 23 203. And on Steppenwolf Day in Oshawa too, Steppenwolf of the heavy metal thunder, get your motor running Born to Be Wild on the road classic!! So yah, The Slime. They’re on the bill with All But Six from London, ON and the night is hosted by comedian Gabe Khoury.
