Left Of The Dial, a special tribute show, honouring the late Dave Bookman will take place June 6, 2024 at The Garrison in Toronto. The evening will feature various artists covering songs from The Replacements, (one of Bookie's favourite bands), supported by a specially assembled house band, The All Star Placemats ( Jud Ruhl guitar, Anna Ruddick bass, Jody Brumell drums.). This will be a benefit for The Daily Bread Food Bank.
Artists performing include Jon Auer, Ian Blurton, John Borra with Alli Devenish, Sameer Cash, Charlotte Cornfield, Katie Cruel, Tony Dekker of Great Lake Swimmers, Denz of the OBGMS, Chloe Doucet with Jesse Northey, Hanorah, Georgia Harmer with Ben Whiteley, John Kastner, Terra Lightfoot, Jesse Northey, Nyssa, Harley Olivia, Tim Mech of The Bookmen, Dave Robinson, Lee Rose of Ace of Wands, Stephen Stanley, Julian Taylor, Skye Wallace, Claya Way-Brackenberry of Piner, and Bry Webb.
The show is presented by Canadian Music Week, INDIE88 and The West End Phoenix, admission to the show with a non-perishable food item for The Daily Bread Food Bank (CMW passes will be honoured, with a donation). Doors at 7:00 pm.
