Well it's Mr Saturday on Friday here in Shwarock City.

Country star Jon Pardi hauls his Mr Saturday Night tour into the Tribute Communities Centre Friday Nov 17 2023. Pardi has been piling up the dates touring Europe and North America. He brings with him special guests Jackson Dean, Ella Langley and DJ Highmax.

It’s a full-on country night in the city Friday Nov 17 with five time JUNO Award nominee and CCMA Award winner Tim Hicks on stage at the Regent Theatre with the Campfire Troubadour Tour featuring guest Dayna Reid.

Down at the lake in the Jubilee Pavilion in Lakeview Park Canadian guitar legend Jack De Keyzer performs along with Mark Whilidal and the Doctors of Music. This is a fundraiser for Music Cares for CMHA Durham and the Drive Foundation. Show starts at 8:30 p.m.

We don’t usually bother with tribute bands but for Fleetwood Mac we will make the exception. Tommy Youngsteen is at the Biltmore covering the bestest selling album ‘Rumours’ along with some other hits from the greatest band ever so yah Tommy. Decent call.

At the Atria Friday has Burlington singer/songwriter Daniel Walton, with Circle the City, and the Jailbirds. On Saturday Nov 18 its Byrdy, Diamond Weapons, and Live Animals.

Also on Saturday it’s the next edition of Hometown Sounds, the local music incubator, at Simcoe St. Blues and Jazz. This week it’s Hollerin’ Myke Pulito, Jake Stauffer, and High Fidelity. Doors at 7 and this is a Crosswalk presentation.
