Montreal-based classically trained composer and singer Ambre Ciel has announced her debut album, ‘Still There is the Sea’, will be available Jun 6 2025. While it is a solo record Ciel had co-production with Pietro Amato, and arrangement aid from Owen Pallet, both with ties to Arcade Fire of course. The first single ‘the sun, the sky’ is out and it’s a beautiful piece. From an icy single drop, the song ripples out, swells into waves lapping at the edges of contentment. Gorgeous company for any storm.
